In a recent interview with Lebanese media, Hamas political bureau member Osama Hamdan warned that the terror group is on the brink of launching a "war of liberation" that he claims will surpass the October 7 incursion into Israel.

Hamdan, in his late 50s, showed no remorse for the previous attack that resulted in the deaths of over 1,400 Israelis.

The October 7 incursion saw Hamas targeting young women, children, and families, leaving devastation in its wake.

The threat of a new conflict has been met with a stern response from Israel's spy chief, Ronen Bar, who vows to pursue and eliminate Hamas leaders globally.

Despite Turkey's warning of "serious consequences" for any assassination attempts on its soil, Israel remains resolute in its pursuit.

The ongoing tensions have prompted comparisons to the Munich Olympics attack in 1972, with Bar referring to the October 7 massacre as "our Munich".

He emphasized the need to eliminate Hamas and vowed that the operation would extend to Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Turkey, and Qatar, regardless of the years it might take.

Senior Hamas leaders are known to reside outside Gaza and the West Bank, with key figures in Lebanon, Turkey, Qatar, and Iran.

Israel's recent actions include the elimination of Wissam Farhat, the mastermind behind the Kibbutz Nahal Oz massacre in October.

Farhat was killed in an airstrike on the Gaza Strip, responsible for planning and orchestrating several attacks against Israeli forces.
